The 1967 Assembly Manual states (for the front anyway), "Attach molding thru
hole at centerline of wheel opening then attach from centerline forward &
rearward through slots. It is permissible for molding to be away from fender
surface .06" max. in areas A & B." Areas A & B are the lower body crease.
In other words, start at the top center of the wheel opening and work
forward/backward from there. Been a long time since I've used any and can't
remember the screw patterns for the rears but I'd apply the same
logic...start at the center and work out.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] 67 Chevelle - Wheel Well moldings

I just received my Chevelle back from the paint shop and went to install
the wheel well moldings, the contour doesn't match very well (Made in
Taiwan) does any one know 1.) Do you have to attach one end and walk the
molding around the wheel well? Or 2.) Is there a wheel well molding for a 67
that someone was please with and fit the car?

Thanks in advance for your input.
