Clint, you should also check out the water pump stuff, reverse or not.
I have no idea if this applies to an 88 but check it out anyway.

I'd say just make sure you have the appropriate accessory bolt holes on your 69 motor.

A friend of mine is parting out an 88 Firebird TA and has offered its
complete serpentine belt system with a/c compressor,p/s pump,alternator,
water pump,and all brackets & pulleys to me for $100. I'd like to buy it and
install the system on my 69's SBC.
Any do's, don'ts, or helpful hints?
