Sorry this is late, was off line due to computer trouble.

I bought shocks for my 64 from the Chevy dealer.
Mr Goodwrench shocks or something similar.
They ride nicely on a stock suspension and were reasonably priced. 
I'd look at the aftermarket for a modified suspension though.

I need to replace the old shocks on a 64 SS chevelle ,and i cant tell what brand the old ones are,and i want to get a little stiffer ride. Any suggestions???  thanks in advance... bob     Also  anybody ever heard of a company in Tulsa ,OKLA. called  4 State Auto Parts? the engine in this 64 has that tag rivited to the front of the block, with a serial #  . Ive called info. in tulsa,and they have no # listed.  thanks again  bob , Hinton,OK.
