Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Unilite
Curve Calibration
Larry,
this may seem like a dumb question but,
How did you figure out how much timiing to set your dist. at?
I have never know exactly where to start.
By the way I have a old unilite (mallory) and I have the plastic key
somewhere if that is what your talking about for measurements.
I'll look to see if I can find it.
thanks.
I have an early 90s Unilite distributor, and am
looking someone who has the timing curve calibration tools. If you do,
can you measure the thickness of the tools and post them on the list.
I purchased a kit #29014 but it is for the later model. I think the
proper kit is #29015. It seems that when I got the distribtor the kit
was in the box.
My target total advance is 36 Deg w/ 10-12
initial.
If anyone needs the #29014, I would be happy to
make a great deal.
