Nicely put. Glad you made it back from the nam to get to enjoy your Chevelle.I retired from my own business, an Equipment dealership in 1998. Got back into cars which my business caused me to get out of due to 80 hour work weeks at that time. Now I restore cars both for myself and the public. Can you say 80 hours a week again?Mike Holleman----- Original Message -----From: The HanksSent: Tuesday, April 05, 2005 9:33 AMSubject: RE: [Chevelle-list] For a living...I think it is interesting to learn about people believe these cars are some of the most stylish ever built. I know it sounds hokey, but we do have a common thread regardless of where we live, what we do for a living or our background . That thread, is the love affair with a Chevelle/ElCamino. I have had my affair ever since I went to the Chevrolet Dealer in Abilene,Texas in 1965 and bought my Chevelle ( VIn#138176K 118008) still have the original title, but my Dad sold the car while I was in VIetNam. As a new guy to the list, it is informative to get to know the people and gain a little insight about those on the list. To me, Chevelle means friends, and that is really what the list is about, sharing, helping and learning. That's my opinion about "what's this have to do with chevelle".
