I have a 72 Chevelle 454. I just installed a 150 amp Powermaster alt. I have a high flow Meizere electric water pump. A BDS 8-71 blower. Power steering, and plan on adding a Sanden SD-7HD compressor to my car to upgrade my AC.
The problem is...finding a bracket to mount the Compressor. I have the alt mounted low on the passenger side. The power steering is on the driver side low. The pulley on the blower has three grooves, but finding a bracket that will mount the unit high on the left or right is becoming difficult. I'd like something that would bolt on the heads! Most units use or need the standard water pump. Any leads would be appreciated. I have talked to March comp. with no success. I'll try giving Allen Grove Comp. a call today!
