Hi,
My Dad bought his 67 SS in 69 when I was 4, it is the car that warped me for life...I now own it. My first drivable 67 Malibu was purchased in '86. I had been building a 383 and needed a chassis and my uncle in WV knew of the car that was for sell. We hauled the engine down and spent a week getting it running and drove it the 400 miles back home. I just hit 40 this year and while I have the 67's on the back burner, I am putting a 69 Malibu together as a driver, nice rust free western car I just got last fall, it is in much better shape than what you get in a car from Indiana.

44 here.  Ive always liked classic cars but because of family needs I never could afford one, until 2001 when I sold my 84 Monte Carlo SS and placed a down payment on my 69 Chevelle SS. The car body was in good shape and came with a 1973 454.  A friend of mine, who is a Chevy nut, traded me the 454 for a 396 block in which he rebuilt for me at a fraction of the cost.  Since then I dropped a couple nickels and dimes into the car and Im lucky if I put 500 miles on it a year, like Zieg72.  My kids are now 5 and 7, so they are at the age where I can get out and take a ride more often.  Thanks to everyone on the list who has helped me over the years.  This is a great list and Id be lost without your help and support.

42 here, got my first Chevelle Sept 88 a plain jane 72 inline 6 with 3 on the tree 2 dr.  4 years later I found what I still have which is another 72 which I haven't driven it 50 miles since I bought it.  Life and family needs always seem to put it on the back burner.  Hope to finish it up this year enough to drive it at least in primer.
