Hey Guys, I am 42 years old. I bought my first Chevelle out of Roundup Magazine based in Jan Lew West Virginia. It was a 1972 Chevelle SS454 Convertible. This was a stripe delete car. Blue, White power top with Bench seats. M-22 Muncie 4 Speed. My dad and I pulled it out of a snow bank in Bluefield West Virginia. It was a basket case. We drove that car from West Virginia, through the mountains of Kentucky all the way home! I sat in the back yard for a couple of years until I sold it to a fellow named Hal Toms. Hal regularly sells Chevelles parts in Chevelle.Com. Yes, I wished I still had that car. I think Hal parted it out and made enough to buy Christmas presents for his kids. This was back in 1985. My current car is a 1968 Chevelle SS396. I bought it out North Barrington Hills Chicago area. The guy I bought it from purchased it from Volo Musuem. It drove the car on a regular basis.
