Rick: thanks for the info. I checked it out and they have everything i need it looks like. this is a new deal for me ,never changed one out but it cant be to bad or i can take it to someone who can do it.any special converter you suggest? Jim wanting to take out a power glide and put in a 200r4.
thanks again for your help and the others who responded. maybe my 64 SS will really go now:-)

I lost track of what you are working with, but these folks have
conversion kits for the shifters of many GM vehicles:
