Hi,
The AFB is easier to tune with metering rods and or springs that take about 30 seconds to remove with out taking the carb apart. And if you do have to change jets the top comes off and the fuel stays in the bowls which is a lot less messy. And you don't have to worry about leaks. I think the secondary side is more responsive too. They don't run a power valve either so you won't have to worry about it blowing out.

HI,
I think the AFB is worth a second look, sell the Holley instead!

Hay guys. I just bought a 350 375 horse engine for my 65 chevelle to replace the mild 283. anyway, it came with a carter afb with 125 jets. and a set of 65 holley jets. i have the duel line holley that came on the 283 that i think i'll put on the 350.
what is this carter worth? It looks real good shiny and everything seems to be there.any ideas or offers ? let me know. It was not installed  when i got it,just in a box
