ya, the "certain crowd" thing gets mentioned as well.
it's funny, because real lowriders aren't the troublemakers that the media portrays, you're more likely to see them guys in the mini truck/ import section. hell, most of us work full time jobs to support our habit, just like rodders, plus, we build rides that are cleaner than the majority of hot rods, they just happen go up and down and stand on 3 wheels as well..
take my old 64 impala as an example, you'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner ride at shows. but it was built "lowrider style", so it got no respect at rod shows.. which is fine. I build what I like.
oh well, a closed mind only hurts the person who has it...
which is just a general statement, and not necessarily directed at you Tim.
