Drawings should be in the shop manual or a Chilton's manual. The early 60's V8 engines had a baffled connection at rear of block connected to PCV valve at carb. The oil fill cap was the breather. ( filled with steel mesh) Later the breather moved to a filter in the air cleaner. There are several ways to plumb it. A PCV valve in valve cover connected to manifold or carb base; with a breather in the other valve cover or a hose from air cleaner to valve cover. Remember the baffle so it's not sucking in liquid oil. Probably the PCV valve for the original car or at least the same cu inch engine is the best bet. The PCV system actually helps the engine by keeping vapors out of crankcase. Pete Geurds Douglassville, PA
