The air side has very low suction to draw air in so connections are larger. The part under vacuum can be smaller as it has full engine vacuum drawing on it. Q. No junk yards to go hunting for misc parts? Any 70's GM car or truck would probably have what you need. Pete Geurds Douglassville, PA
