The mechanism hid completely behind the door panel, nothing stuck out or bulged.  I never had any mechanical or electrical problems with them at all in the 3 years I had them in before I sold the car.  I also opted for the AutoLoc express up/down for the fronts…loved that.  To me, nice things about them over factory style is (1) ease of installation and (2) they can be removed at any time and your manual window crank put back on if you want to move them to another car.  Sneaky me, I didn’t put switches in the rear of the car so my grandkids couldn’t ‘play’ with the windows :*)   Dale McIntosh 67 El Camino 1967 Chevelle Reference CD beta now available!
