The accelerator cable in my 1969 El Camino broke today (and the pin that holds the pedal on broke last week). Does any body know or have a picture of the correct way to connect the cable to the pedal arm? There is a crimped end on the cable and my old one was held on with a hose clamp. It served its purpose but I would like to connect the new one properly especially since that is the juncture where it failed.
