I have been employed by Sherwin-Williams Company for a little over 20 years.  It is an excellent paint.  I am in the industrial OEM side of the business and many of our offerings are tweaked automotive formulas.  Most of the cost of automotive paint is the labor it took for the intermix system in developing the colors.  Opinions are like noses, everybody has one.  I wouldn't worry, like you said the bodywork is the most important.

Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] Paint Question

Anyone on the list have an opinion on Sherwin Williams paint?
My painter was suppose to use PPG, but the place he paints at changed over to Sherwin Williams,
he says that the quality is the same, of course the body work is the most important part of the paint job.
Anyone have any prior experience in this field?
Thanks Joe
