Pelle Flywheel is much thicker and the clutch is bolted on it. Used to manual transmissions. Automatic transmissions are using a turbine instead connected to the flexplate. The starter uses the gear on the flexplate. The Swedish word for flexplate is "startkrans" which pretty much explains the function
