Easy there,Chuck. Rick was just bringing up the
point that M&H builds oem-style harnesses with updated features for today's
useage,also.
Is your 70 Malibu completely original? I'm sure
Gene can get you a harness that meets your particular needs.

Speake Rick, I dont know if you misunderstood what I was asking or read something else into it, but Gene did have a posting stating that he had just arranged to be a distributor for M&H and would offer a 15% discount to any of the Chevelle.com people that would be interested. I was just asking to clarify it as far as a time line for availability and how to go about getting the discount. Apparently I was not the only one that saw this if you look at Larrys posting just before mine he is discussing taking advantage of the 15% discount himself. I am not trying to be argumentative, but your reply I believe is an answer to something completely other than my question. Chuck Speake 70 Chevelle Malibu Glen Ellyn, IL

Someone mentioned it but to restate: M&H will customize a stock wire harness if you make certain upgrades. IE if you add an HEI, they will eliminate the starter to distributor wires & add a switched hot 12V circuit for the HEI. Also if you convert to internal regulated alternator they will modify or eliminate the external regulator circuit & use the correct internal regulated alternator connector. They modify the stock harness & make it easier to upgrade. I am planning on rewiring my 70 Chevelle this winter as my main project, however I have a third back surgery looming within the next three weeks and after just having two back surgeries in July can't really put that kind of money out right at this moment. Also can you give me a web sight that I can review what wiring harness sets that M&H and yourself offer or have available? Thanks,

When I get my income tax refund, my plan is to but a complete M&H set for my 66 SS through Gene and take advantage of his 15% discount. He'll save me enough to pick up a set of patch panels for my fenders...
On the other hand, my boy wants to buy a generic harness for his 68 SS so he can save some money. Unfortunately, I will end up doing the work I'm sure.
