The spade connectors (AKA power taps) are where you can connect a wire to pick up power to go to added on accessories. The top (BAT) is hot at all times, the next one down (ACC) is hot with the key in the ON or ACC position, the next one (IGN) is only on in the ON & START positions. The LPS tap is for the courtesy lights.
