The Edelmann number is supposed to be 70253, not 70263. 71068 also sounds like an Edelmann number but it does not cross-reference at all to my car.   This is the original hose and the car came w/ a 350 in 1969. When I dropped in the 1958 283 block, the p/s hoses bolted right up. So, I don't think it’s a rare or unusual hose. The real reason I asked if anybody knew if this was a dealer item is because when my accelerator cable broke a few weeks ago, the place that had the best price and also had it in stock turned out to be the dealer. I am still going to try two local dealers tomorrow.
