Turns out it was a nice piece of rubber that somehow got into the float and
wasn't allowing it to seat.  I took off the carb to look at it and thought I
saw something weird so I took off the gasket.  Looks like the gasket split
and the top half of got pulled into the carb, halfway covering the ports.  I
always wondered why I lost so much power over the last few years... thought
it was my new tranny and wheels... guess not :)

I always thought though that blue smoke was oil
burning-  Am I wrong on that one?
