My chevelle is a 68.  When I bought it, it was half malibue half SS clone.  I wasnt sure what route I wanted to take but when I came across a 396 for $150 It kind of made me think of cloning it.  Havent gotten that far yet.    As far as power brakes it already has them and a heat core is also there....thanks for your time.  If you can think of anything else let me know!!   Ryan
