Subject: [Chevelle-list] Lizard SkinIm planning to use the same product, Lizard Skin. I talked to the owner and a friend that does custom work on cars. He likes it over Dynamat. He said they had a 25 degree drop in temp using it inside on the roof.
If you use it before I do, tell me how it turns out!!

Hi,
I am planning on using Lizard Skin over Por-15. The lizard skin is a heat and sound barrier coating popular with street rod builders. Only has to be .040 thick.

Pelle, I just tried something different with good results. I'm restoring a 64 Impala SS for a local guy. He asked why not use bedliner on the floor pans. We did and it turned out excellent. It can be sprayed, rolled or brushed. It's very tough and seals the metal. Might be worth a look.

I'd clean off as much rust & scale as possible. Paint with POR 15 , Extend, Rust Bullet or some other similar product (what is available in Europe???). Then I'd spray with rubberized undercoating.

wonder if I can paint the floor with that rubber:ish stuff sometimes used

What would you guys do?
Best regards
