Pelle, I would say your friend still has air in the rear part of his system. If his rear caliper has multiple bleeders, have him bleed the high bleeders on each side of the caliper. Air will get trapped in the caliper and move side to side. Also, are his lines new. They could have rust inside them if not, causing an internal blockage.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Brake problems?

I have a fellow Gearhead that's having problems with his brakes!
Do you have any ideas?

"I have 4 Wheel Disc brake and have some problems with the brake.
I have a very spongy pedal. If I plugged the rear circut the brake pedal will be hard after a short way. If I not plug the rear the pedal goes nearly down to the floor! I have a new Master cylinder for disc/disc brake installed, residual valves front-rear, willwood proportion valve.
But it will be not go better.
In front I have MB Disc Brakes in rear Camaro.
I bleeded the system several times but it´s not better.
Please, if someone know somthing to help Email me.
I have no way out for this problem.
With best regards
Ingo
Germany "

"I have bleeded the complete system. ( I think)
I also think that I have air in the systeme because I don´t have parking brake callipers in the rear.
I have put e new Master cylinder in because with the old one was it the same problem.
( It was a Toyota master cylinder) Now I have bought original 4 disc master from MP brakes in USA.
I have bleeded the systeme by feed, with bleeding machine…. I think 20 times.. and always the same result.
The Rod is from Sweden ; I ask the guy who built the car and he tell me that he has also the problems with the brake. But he drive as it is. I think it is dangerous on German Streets.
The only thing is that the bleeding screw is not in 12 o`clock position?? But I have also bleeded the calliper and have it in my hand to hold it in the right position.
You will be go crazy after this time…….
 Regards Ingo"
