I had an Epson photo 820 that printed great pictures when it would print. Unfortunately if it sat idle for more than a week the jets or something would plug and the photo would come out with lines through them, etc. Using the head cleaning utility on the printer used up ink and I found myself having to do this each time I wanted to print a photo. I got sick of that routine and bought an HP Photosmart 7760 and I've had great luck with it so far. Too bad about the Epson because it printed excellent pictures when it would work properly, I just couldn't see using up all my ink on a nozzle cleaning utility.
