I would not run car oil in a motorcycle,due
to its lack of anti-shear additives such as zinc,etc. These additives are not
used in automotive oil because they will damage catalytic
converters.
In my ZR-1 Corvettes,I ran Redline 10W-40
and changed it every year. Expensive but it's hard to find better
synthetic.
I ran Amsoil in my aircraft and liked it
alot.
