Can you get Chevy Rumble (the magazine) in Diego?    There is a story in the issue on the newstands about installing an LS1 in a 70.   They did use the Street & Performance pulleys, but they also mentioned that a pulley setup from the Corvette would work.  If you can't find the magazine, email me @ rickasATchevelles.com   I'll send you a copy.

Why the LQ9 or LQ4 you ask?  Because I plan to build an SLP 402ci stroker out of it before installation, and the LQ9 and LQ4 both have the required 6.0 inch bore, clearance for the 6.125" rods, and also the 65cc combustion chambers to keep compression below 11.2:1.  I don't want, however, to have to go to S&P for one of their $2000 pulley systems to make it work.
