I ordered the GW setup. I know there is better, but they gave me a $600
discount..I have checked into the ATX spindles, but they are not ready for
sale, and..I would have to upgrade my mags. Too much for one time! I'm not
quite as rich as you are Clint..GRIN. The ATX spindles will run close to
$800 a piece, plus I would still need to upgrade the A arms! Oh well.I can
cry later.
I also found out I need to upgrade to a 12:1 steering box. Any suggestions
on who to get it from or get my old one reworked. Plus some mods on my rear
axle for the upgraded Wilwood rear brakes.
You were correct, about their being some sharp folks on Lateral G. Thanks
for the recommendation.

Dan,
I'm also using an AGR box and so far so good, except it does squeal when I
reach the limit of its span. I got mine from Summit.

Dan,
I have an AGR box on my El and so far it's been flawless. Here's AGR's web
page http://www.agrperformance.com/ and another good thing, Summit sells
AGR so when you find the part number for your application, go to Summit and
get a lower price.

According to a post I just read on Pro-Touring.com,the ATS spindles were
quoted at $625/pair for a 1st Gen F-body. I emailed the builders to give me
a price quote on a A-body spindles.(basically the same thing) What's
keeping
me from buying a pair now is the fact I would have to sell my Baer C4 Vette
brakes and buy C5 or C6 stuff. I'll probably wait till the new Z06 brake
parts become more readily available and then do it all at one time.
My recommendation for a good steering box would be AGR out of the Dallas
area. Maybe someone can post their contact information as I can't seem to
find their business card, right now. If anyone else is running another good
box, maybe they can post the info. Herb? Keith?
