Granted, I don’t know much about Corvettes and this was bout 10 years ago, so possibly I was driving a 1966 and my memory has faded. Was there a 427/450HP model that year? I seem to remember him saying that it was rated at 450HP from the factory. The ZL1 alum BBC wasn't offered until 1969 and only two were ever sold.
