The Gear Vendors O/D is .78 according to their web page. Between that and your .64 it's about a 400-500 rpm difference with other factors being equal using a TH350/400. Put the O/D unit behind a 700R4 and you're talking an 8-spd automatic with final ratio of .55! That's a 300rpm drop from yours or 700-800 drop from what he has now. Even with 4.56 gears it drops to 2.49 in 4th GM O/D-over. That'd be a good ratio for crusin!
