I was looking for Doug's headers on the web the other day, and the web
site said they were sold to Pertronix. At the Pertronix site, there was
very little information that I could find on Doug's headers. However, on
the Pypes site, they seem to offer Doug's headers, and have an on-line
catalog.
Where do you get Doug's headers these days?

I also replaced my Hooker Headers with Doug's on my 65 GTO and am much
happier with them - mainly for the additional 1-2" of ground clearance. I
used to bottom out every where I went with the Hookers - not so with Doug's.
Highly recommended.

Mark, I just replaced the Hooker super comps on my Tempest with a set from
Doug's. There is no comparison. The Doug's use a much heavier flange, 3/8".
The fit is much better. Almost two inches more ground clearance. I am way
more happy with the Doug's.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Headers
Evening, I am looking for some feedback. Has anyone used Doug's
Headers? I
have a 66 396 and am still looking for headers. Most header applications
cover 64 - 72. Doug's lists a set specifically for 64-67. Common sense
would make you think that these would have the best chance of fitting
correctly. Comments.
thanks
Mark
