From what the previous owner said, it was a rebuilt 65.  From what I have heard they put a Edlebrock cam kit to bust the HP to 325 or 350.  The numbers on the block is a J serious, which tells me it was a 283.   So I might have bought a good story, but it runs well.   It does have a cam for sure, the performer intake, and 4 barrel.   Wish I know it was really a 327.  some day might have to open the engine up and really see what I have.   This car is not a numbers car, but it sure does look nice.   But not super tricked out.   Yahoo!
