My 66 came with a set of frame mounts already in place. I picked up a pair of engine mounts, and found the gap where the frame mount hump goes to be too wide. I would have to shim like 1/2 inch total to use them. I took one of the frame mounts off and went to the parts store to see what would fit. I ended up getting a set identified to work with a 327.   I remember from a previous thread here either the SBC or the BBC mounts makes the engine sit a bit lower.
