Tom, correct me if I'm wrong, but the external motor mount bolt hole lugs on the sides of the 307 block are the same size/shape/location as they are on any other Chevy small block.  However, for some reason Chevy chose to create unique frame mounts specifically for the 307 even though there is no external difference between a 307 block and the other Chevy small blocks.

Correct Herb.  The bolt pattern is the same, but for whatever reason, they changed the height of the motor mounts and frame mounts.
