Easiest is a toggle switch placed in-line of ignition wire from ignition switch. Mount switch in/under dash. Make sure switch is good for 12 v. Then just filp switch to kill ignition. Simple.  gm66

Recently discussed - Kill Switches.  Wondering what is best or easiest.  Thought I read about grounding out the coil somewhere.  Would gronding out the coil still allow the car to be cranked over, but not start?  Anybody have details on how this is best done?  Preference is to have what ever disables the vehicle from starting located in the car and not extra / visable wires in the engine compartment.

Secondly.  I had the thought of routing the fuel line from the tank up into the trunk, install a fuel shut off valve just above the trunk floor and then run it back down to the front as it normal goes.  Question: any problems with a mechanical fuel pump to draw fuel from the fuel tank with this higher than normal loop?

Thanks for you help!  It's during the midwest winter months is when I get to this stuff.
