John, the pitman arm has a slot in it so it will only go on one way and it can't be changed there. The alignment on the front end can be perfect in all aspects but what has to happen is the tie rod sleeves have to be turned an equal amount on both sides to get the steering wheel to line up where you want it. If this is done right, it will not interfere with the front end alignment in any way. I just the other day had to do this to my son's 05 F150 after he went through a ditch a little too fast. (what he said anyway) It messed up the alignment and the wheel was nearly 45 degrees off. Turned the sleeves and straightened it right up. Danny Wilsher....
