That is correct I found that information in Paul Herds
book. He says that near the end of the model run in 1969, twin hood and
deck stripes became available as a special order. they were similar to the
1970-72stripes, but different dimensions were used. I quote him " The hood
stripes were painted over both ends of the panel. The deck stripes do not
extend past the edge of the deck lid. Only two colors were available:
gloss-black and white." He also gives specific Hood dimensions for the
stripes and Deck lid dimensions. He also gives color #'s with dupont for
the black and white stripes. Joe P.
Just an FYI on that book, don't take it as gospel, there are MANY, MANY,
MANY flaws & incorrect information in it. If you want to know for
sure, go by the factory assembly manual or look in the Team Chevelle
Archives. This topic has been covered many times.
