I put the same system on my 1966 chevelle 400 SB.  it comes with series 30 mufflers, not to loud at low rpm but sounds good when revved up!  I called flow master they said for the street on my 400 sb 450 horsepower a 2 1/2 inch is good. more back pressure which makes more torque!! not to bad to install, it came w/ two sets of tail pipes!!   Doug From: John [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2006 9:10 PM To: Chevelle-list@chevelles.net Subject: [Chevelle-list] Flowmaster I am thinking of buying a Flowmaster 2 1/2 inch American Thunder Exhaust kit for my 66...Anybody have one of these installed on their car or have any opinions of them...????
