ok i have a 72 ss chevelle conv. i pulled the
smoking 454 ls-5 motor and out it up i replaced with a 350 as well as replaced
the 400 with a ready to go 350 tranny and replaced the 373 posi rear
with a 331 limted slip ok i burnt the 350 trans. up raising hell and
bought a 400 cheap and instaled it now i have a hoammmmmm around 55
to 65 mph after that it goes away so i replaced the tranny because it
didn't do it till i changed the trans from 350 to 400 but it still does it with
a different tranny although it is a 400 i have replaced driveshafts
repeatedly with no effect so im thinking rear end but as i am a body man with
only parts replacement mechanical abilaties i have no idea whats causing this
maybe some ideas? thanks again CHEVELLES RULE
