I have 215 70 14's on my 69 and don't have any clearance or backspacing issues. I have considered 15" wheels with lower profile tires every now and then. I think anything I can do to stiffen up the handling of this car would be a good thing. It's pretty loose and sloppy right now.

I'm old school, have Rally's on my Malibu.  15X7 w/235-60's on the front and 15X8 w/255-60's on the rear. BFG's.  I think it looks fine, I don't race it.  ..ds

I was figuring a 235 60 R15.  I’m not into the drag racing look that I have now.  Thanks
