HI,
I am also setting up a serp set up from a 2001 vortec blazer along with the
air conditioning parts on my 69. I went with a early style reverse pump in
aluminum because of hose issues, (it came without holes so since my radiator
has a fitting I will run the heater return to it and the heater supply still
comes out the intake.) Using the earlier pump would allow the use of
aftermarket underdrive pulleys. I am using the factory pulleys on mine but
the water pump pulley has a different bolt pattern so if you get the whole
set up and don't use the original water pump you will need to get an earlier
pulley.

The alt bracket is made to bolt to vortec heads so all three bolts will
line up if you use vortec heads. On my vette alum heads only one will line
up. I plan on using a thick piece of aluminum strap and bolt it to the head
and there is an unused threaded hole in the back of the bracket which will
line up.

I am running center bolt heads and stock covers so it cleared but it would
be tight if you use tall covers.

Use a rotating thermostat housing and shoot it behind the air cond pump,
the old hose will almost work if turned end for end and cut and spliced to
be a little longer. I am planning on using the flex stainless steel type
that street rods use alot. The bottom hose is the blazer hose.

Power steering pump was easy, return line clamps and for the pressure side I
used the blazer hose after having the local welding shop replace the
steering box end to a flare fitting.

You could use the stock clutch fan for the blazer but I am going electric.
The fire wall box will need a spacer if you use the air conditioning core,
but the lines are long enough. The condenser is about the same size as
stock, but the lines go in core support in a different (better actually)
spot and will need holes to be drilled, it seems like I had to remove the
bracket that holds the lines together and spread them a bit and make a new
hold down bracket.

I think I am at about $650 for mine so far but that includes the air cond
parts and new alum water pump. I got the stock set up from a place on eBay,
