Thank you guys for the help and attachments - they will guide me in the right direction.  I didn't even think of looking in my Service manual.

I scanned three pages out of my 66 Chassis Service Manual and posted it on the web. This book covers Chevrolet, Corvettes and Chevelles, so look for the notes specific to Chevelles. What you want starts on the bottom of page one. If your browser automatically reduces the image size, just "hover" over the image with your mouse and you should see a link appear on the bottom right of the image. Click there to view full size. Also, if you print, each page should be close to 8.5" X 11".  I hope this is what you're looking for.

Does anyone have an assembly sequence or drawing of a '66 standard steering wheel, horn lever, and horn components.  I checked my '66 assembly manual and it did not give any detail in this area.  I just bought an original '66 steering wheel with horn lever, center cap and all internal horn components and need to know the order / direction they go together.

 

I have a digital picture available of all my pieces if this helps.  I like puzzles, but if I am actually missing a piece - it's not so fun trying to figure it out.
