Are
you sure the -8 has a 3/8 pipe thread and not a 1/2"? Instead of the dual
feed lines, I went with Edelbrocks deal with the regulator. The two lines
going to the float bowls are -6 and line feeding into the bottom of the
regulator is a -8. I like it, it's clean and works good. The fuel
filter is back by the tank.

I have one of those dual feed fuel line with a
pressure gauge on it. The input end (right next to the gauge) is threaded, and
has an adaptor screwed in that runs into a male 3/8" barb end.
Does anybody have an idea what size and
type the threaded end is? I took it to an auto parts store, and the guy
there told me it's a standard 3/8" fitting. This adaptor threads right into
canister type fuel filters.
I tried screwing in the 3/8" NTP end of a -8
AN to 3/8" NTP adaptor into the female (input end) of the dual feed fuel line
and it's just a bit too big to fit.
What I'm trying to do is run a -8 AN braided line
from my fuel pump up to the dual feed line hooked to the carb. I was thinking
the basic 3/8" fuel line fitting was the same thread as on the -8 AN to 3/8"
NTP adaptor... I guess not.
Any ideas?
