Just passing along info for anybody that may be
interested... I saw a Cutlass S Conv. for sale today in this area. The black rag
top looked to be in good shape. Both quarters have been cut off and new panels
held in place with a couple of rivets. Fenders, doors, hood and trunk lid looked
straight. Floor inside was bare, and looked fine. Bucket seats up front, rough
looking. All chrome was taken off the car.
Note on the care said car comes with new factory
type upholstery, new carpet, complete chrome moldings in great shape, and new
windshield. Note said engine is a 350 Rocket or something like that, with a
freshly rebuilt auto tranny. I looked under the car and it looked like there was
a 12 bolt under it. I didn't get to see inside the trunk or under the hood. All
I did was stop and look around.
The asking price on it was $3200. Note said must
sell, moving out of state.
