Subject: [Chevelle-list] Removing oil pressure sender plug
Date: Sun, 5 Mar 2006 14:12:04 -0800

Today I bought a hex tool socket to get the 3/8" OD oil pressure sensor plug
out. With mucho torque applied via a 16" bar, the plug was still not giving.
Heating the plug is not an easy option due to proximity of the firewall,
freshly painted block and aluminum intake manifold.
Thinking cooling might work instead, I sprayed it with an inverted can of
computer cleaning air for about 15 seconds. Bingo, the plug came out easily.
     Thanks for all the advice.
