John, my body guy sealed it, I think with epoxy primer, then shot it with undercoating.

I've never done any bodywork and this is strictly a body 101 question, but
do you guys paint the back sides of new panels before you install them? I am going to probably have to replace both fenders, both inner fenders (changing them to metal), and at least one QP on the 1970 Malibu. There are big hunks of bondo behind both front wheels, and I don't know if it's worth trying to
do patch panels. The LH quarter has some rot around the wheel well as well
as a big dent, so I'll probably have to pull that panel too. I'm hoping Tom
will swing by and look at it because he has a much better feeling for what
is or is not worth trying to save.
