I can't speak to 1969 Chevelles, My basket case 66 came with a 66 Malibu
front fender that had an antenna hole (which looked to be factory), and the
original passenger side SS396 quarter had an antenna hole in it.

Steve,
After closer inspection of your "new" Chevelle, I noticed the radio
antenna is located on the rear fender where as the antenna on my 69 is
located on the passenger side front fender. My Chevelle is all orginial
and I was wondering if anybody knows if the rear mounted antenna was
owner installed or if the rear mounting was a dealer option.
Do you remember where yours was mounted way back then?

Well guys, I bought the car yesterday.
Not perfect, but for now as close to the car I wanted as any I have
seen
and for a price that I think will insulate me from paying dearly for a
mistake.
Want to thank eveyone for your help. Mike Trainer thanks for calling
me,
sorry I could not get you back on phone as your number was busy.
I will get the car week after next and then I will no doubt have a
million more questions.

Steve,
One thing I noticed on that E-bay car is that the A/c if an
aftermarket
setup. They are using the factory compressor but they way the hoses
go
into the firewall indicates an aftermarket setup. Aftermarket A/c
isn't
necessarily a bad thing but the seller should have mentioned it.

If anyone has time I would appreciate some comment or questions
regarding the link to the car below. Especially would like to know
if
anyone in the group is located near where the car is located.
Thanks
