Ryan,
If I remember right you can use your old washers. the new cross shafts should have come with lock nuts. If not get a couple of lock nuts and put them back together just as you said.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Control arms Bolts

In me earlier email I asked about being able to use regular bolts instead of the ones with "teeth" for the front upper control arms.  I just went out to the garage and remembered the real question I was wanting to ask....
I replaced the cross shaft in the upper control arms with a MOOG shaft.  The old one was threaded on the inside and the bolt threaded in to it.  The new shaft actually has male threads that come through the new bushing.  Do I just get a big washer and lock nut and thread them on or how did  some of you guys to it?

Thanks for the help
