I got mine (just lucky I guess) off of eBay for 40 dollars most of it was shipping, just don't forget new bushings. there are kits out there from several sources to box your own, just pull yours and take them to your local welder/muffler shop. There are also as you've heard boxed arms available out there, and even adjustable arms if you are so inclined. I found mine to make a world of difference. my tail end was awful sloppy before I converted to boxed control arms. the handling is really sweet, no more unintentional fishtailing. great fairly cheap handling improvement for my almost daily driver.

hope this helps

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Lower control arms

hey fellow chevelle-ists! I have a question. I am about to probably buy a pair of rear lower control arms for my 70' chevelle. I have the regular stock non-boxed lower control arm. Should I convert and buy the "boxed control arms for better handling(as they say). If so, where do I buy same inexpensive ones. If not then which kind of lower control arms should I stay with. I have a 350 SB and 350 tranny street and freeway driver. thanks
