For plugs I usually use ACDelco (OEM style) and Autolite (Platinum and Double Platinum). Factory .045" gap for a stock or mildly modified SBC, with a brass-terminal cap and low-resistance wires. For the heat range I run the hottest plug I can as long as there's no detonation, preignition, or overheating (usually AC 45 or equivalent). Brad
